McDonald played for the Lady Buffs from 1990-1992 after transferring to WT from Frank Phillips College.  She had an immediate impact for the Lady Buffs under head coach Bob Schneider. 
 
At 6-4, and possibly the tallest player in WT women's basketball history to that point, McDonald ranks 12th all-time in school history in scoring at 1,179 points.  She is third in scoring average at 19.33 points per game and fourth in field goal shooting with a career average of .577.
 
McDonald leads the school record book in career rebounding at 11.19 rebounds per game and is tied for third in most rebounds in a game (19) on Feb. 29, 1992. 
 
Her 40 points on Nov. 29, 1991, is the second-most in a game in school history.  She was a two-time All-America selection for the Lady Buffs.
