Athletic Communications
All interview, photo and credential requests must be directed to the West Texas A&M athletics communications office for all media outlets. To arrange an interview, request a media credential or fall sport pass for an upcoming West Texas A&M athletics event, or to obtain additional WT athletics materials (such as photos, logos, etc.), please contact the correct sports information contact above. Please place your interview request at least 12 hours in advance of the intended interview date or athletics event. NOTE: All WT team members and athletics staff have been instructed not to conduct interviews if contacted directly by media outlets without prior approval from the West Texas A&M athletics communications office.
*Any working members of the media who would like to receive emailed press releases regarding WT Athletics, may send an email to Director of Athletic Communications Brent Seals (bseals@wtamu.edu). Please include your name, media affiliation, all email addresses you would like to have releases sent to.*
Credential Requests
Please use the forms below to request various types of credentials. Credentials must be submitted 48 hours before the start time of requested event and are required for all WT Athletic Events.

PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY
Photographers must comply with all applicable NCAA, Lone Star Conference, West Texas A&M University, event-specific policies and must be credentialed through the forms above. Photographers shall remain inside the designated areas during all event play and are not permitted to take photos or move behind the team benches and official table. On-Camera flashes are prohibited during competition in addition to mounted strobes, unless you have received written permission from the West Texas A&M Communications office. All rules and regulations are subject to space, safety, facility, conference and applicable NCAA/event-specific restrictions.
MEDIA INTERVIEW PROTOCOL
When the student-athletes and coaches are in-season, their schedules are busy and we ask that members of the media respect their programs. Please request an interview by contacting the WT Athletic Communications Office. The media request MUST be sent AT LEAST 12 HOURS prior to the scheduled interview time. A media request MUST be submitted for ANY interview with players, coaches, or athletics administration.
Please be on time. The coaches and players will wait no longer than 10 minutes if an interview is scheduled. If no one arrives in that time frame, the coaches and players will not be available again until the next scheduled time. If there is a conflict with a specific player (i.e. having class, etc.) during the scheduled time, the WT Athletic Communications Office will work with the media representative to either find a suitable time or gain access to another student-athlete.
