Martin Lattibeaudiere came to WTAMU from Lee High School in Midland, Tex., to play basketball for Coach Rick Cooper from 1993-1997. He was a member of Cooper's first recruiting class. At Lee he was their all-time leading scorer with 1,592 points (16.2 per game). He was also "Mr. LHS" and president of the National Honor Society.
He was a model of consistency for WT, as he played in 112 of 113 games - starting 83. Lattibeaudiere compiled scoring averages of 11.9, 14.1, 14.8, and 15.3 during his brilliant four-year career.
Lattibeaudiere tallied 1,566 points for a 14.0 points per game average. He is the Buff career leader in three-point field goals made (261) and attempted (662), third in field goals made (505), second in field goals attempted (1,156), sixth in free throws made (295), eighth in free throws attempted (390), and tied for third in games played (112).
During his four-year career at WT the Buffs were 70-43 with a Lone Star Conference championship in 1994 and a 1-2 record in the NCAA South Central Regional Tournament. The team also played in the LSC Post-Season Tournament his three other years with a record of 2-3. Lattibeaudiere went on to play professional basketball in Europe.
