Anthony Armstrong played wide receiver for the Buffs from 2001-2004 and was named Lone Star Conference South Division Receiver of the Year as a junior, while earning first team all-conference honors. 

As a senior, Armstrong led the team with 54 catches for 607 yards and four touchdowns.  He finished his career with 145 receptions for 1,768 yards and nine touchdowns.  At the time, his 145 receptions ranked fourth in the school record book.  He graduated with a degree in marketing. 
Following college, Armstrong played arena league and indoor football with the Odessa Roughnecks and the Dallas Desperados in 2006 and 2007. 

Armstrong then signed with the Miami Dolphins practice squad in 2008 and played for the Washington Redskins making his first career catch on Sept. 12, 2010.  He played for the Redskins until 2012 where he signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars and then saw time with the Dallas Cowboys and the Cleveland Browns until 2014.
