Fairly Group has played a quiet but significant role in the rise of West Texas A&M Athletics into a premier NCAA Division II athletic program. In 2006, Fairly Group volunteered their expertise to help WT control rising medical and insurance costs related to student-athlete injuries, while at the same time securing the region's top sports injury medical practitioners for the Buffs and Lady Buffs. Their services continue today and have been especially valuable during the pandemic, contributing approximately $6 million in savings to WT Athletics over the last 15 years.

In addition, as one of the premier athletic facilities consulting companies in the nation, Fairly Group was instrumental in assisting WT with the conception and design of Buffalo Stadium, which is widely regarded as the top football stadium in NCAA Division II. The Selection Committee gratefully recognizes Fairly Group as a 2021 recipient of the Legacy Award for outstanding service and commitment in support of the championship aspirations of West Texas A&M Athletics.
