West Texas A&M University Athletics

Since retiring and relocating to Canyon several years ago, Jim & Peggy Pollard have been involved in supporting WT Athletics in almost every way imaginable. They are season ticket holders to every sport and rarely a game goes by that the Pollard's don't attend. They also feed teams, travel to the occasional road games and are generous with their financial support. 
 
Several years ago, Jim & Peggy provided funds for the athletic director to "improve the program as he sees fit." The money was invested into an instant replay system at the First United Bank Center for our basketball teams and remains in use today. Jim & Peggy also have also established the Jim & Peggy Pollard Athletic Scholarship, an endowment to benefit student-athletes who demonstrate a strong work ethic in pursuit of their degree.
