5232Bell had an outstanding career as a WT football player and he played in the NFL.  As a junior in 2005, he guided the Buffs to their first LSC Championship in 20 years and first Division II playoff in school history.  He was a two-time All-America selection in 2005 and a Harlon Hill finalist. 
 
As a senior, he led the team to the Buffs' second consecutive LSC title and first Division II playoff victory defeating Abilene Christian.  He earned All-America accolades and was a team captain.
 
Bell went 21-4 at WT behind center and never lost a road regular season game as a starter.  He finished his career with 63 touchdown passes and 7,841 yards which ranks fifth in school history.  He also stands at fifth in total offense at 7,840 yards. 
 
He played professionally for the Carolina Panthers, Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks of the NFL and the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Toronto Argonauts of the CFL.
