Hall of Champions
Jan was an enthusiastic fan and supporter of the WT Lady Buff softball, volleyball and basketball teams. She traveled to numerous away games and matches for decades, and she was very involved in lobbying for a softball program at WT and then instrumental in promoting the team at WT during the initial seasons. She developed friendships with the Lady Buff teams' coaching staff and enjoyed long conversations with them many times. "Mama Jan" encouraged and praised and sometimes had helpful suggestions for the teams and coaches she loved so much, Jan passed away in October of 2023.
