DALLAS, Texas – The West Texas A&M women's soccer dropped their second match of the season against Colorado School of Mines, 2-0, Saturday afternoon in Dallas, Texas.
The Lady Buffs defense held the Orediggers attack at bay until the 63
rd minute when Laya Rybicki found the back of the net. After an inspired effort by WT in the closing stages, Mines found the net again in the 86
th minute. Acacia Oritz all but guaranteed Mines their first victory of the season when she found the Net. With the loss, WT falls to 0-4 in the all-time series against the Orediggers.
TURNING POINTMines broke through in the 63
rd minute when Laya Rybicki found the net after a through ball from Rachel Turner. Acacia Ortiz sealed the match in 86
th minute with her first goal of the season after collecting her own rebound.
INDIVIDUAL LEADERS-
Courtney Dippel had a match-high 12 saves, nine of those coming in the first half. Those 12 saves are the third most in a single match in school history.

Ashlee Craig led the Lady Buffs with three shots (one on goal).
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE- The Orediggers outshot the Lady Bufs, 27-9, with 12 of those shots reaching the goal. That is the second consecutive match WT has been outshot by double digits.

Ashlee Craig had a chance to tie the match in the 78
th minute but saw her shot go off the cross bar.
- The Lady Buffs had consecutive corners in the 83
