To ensure a faster, smoother experience in our cashless stadium, fans are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets online in advance. Not only does it speed up entry, but it also provides fans a discounted rate as tickets will be $3 more at the gate than online. This change is part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing ticket operations and helping fans get through the gates quickly and efficiently. 
 
Along with those efforts, all seating inside the stadium is now reserved as general admission has been removed. This change is designed to enhance the fan experience, ensuring every guest has a designated seat and no longer needs to arrive early to claim spots. Reserved seating is also standard across collegiate football, aligning our game day with best practices nationwide and helping to create a more organized environment for fans. 

The Bucky's Buddies Kid's Club is $25 per child (12 & Under), and it includes a FREE ticket to ONE Football home game (November 15th vs Angelo State) and free admission to all other regular season home games during the 2025-26 season.  Information about signup's for this season will be coming soon. 

ADA seating and accommodations are available. Please contact the ticket office in advance or speak with a staff member at the gate for assistance.

Group Tickets can accommodate groups of 15+ people and includes group recognition opportunities on the video board. Contact the ticket office for details. Minimum of 15 tickets required. 

WT is a cashless campus. Only credit/debit card, check, or money orders will be accepted. 

Gates open 1 hour prior to the start of each event.

New This Season: Priority Maroon Lot Parking
As part of our mission to continually elevate the fan experience, we're introducing priority-level parking for the first time in the new Maroon Lot located directly across the street from the stadium (Student Parking Zone 13 by Jones Hall and the Activities Center). This high-demand area is now a premium parking option for fans looking for convenience and proximity to all the action, as this prime location is perfect for tailgating and just steps away from the action on 26th Street.

• VIP - Available to Champion level Buffalo Athletic Club Member & Season Ticket holder
• Herd - Available to fans who purchase a 26th Street tailgate Spot

APPROVED LOCATIONS FOR TAILGATING

Tailgating is permissible in designated areas only. Spaces must be reserved in advance by contacting a member of WT Athletics. All applicable fees are to be paid in full via check or credit card within 10 business days of the reservation.

Countdown to Party on 26th Spaces (Campus Central - 26th Street)

• Total spaces available: 20
• Individual (Non-Corporate) Cost: $100 per game per space, $600 for a season reservation
• Spaces are 10’ x 15’
• Maximum of two (2) spaces may be reserved by a purchaser
• One (1) vehicle per space will be allowed in for set-up and drop-off on gameday
• Following drop off of equipment, Gameday parking will be located in Zone 14 & Zone 7 (behind Buff Hall & Buffalo Courts)
• 6 hours prior to kickoff: Gates on 26th Street will open for groups to drive in and drop off of supplies and equipment for all games. 
• 5 hours prior to kickoff: Gates on 26th Street will close (except on Homecoming). All vehicles used to drop off equipment that are not part of the tailgate must exit the Party to the South upon dropping off of equipment (exceptions: branded company vehicles, customized vehicles for tailgate, etc.).
• 4 hours prior to kickoff: The Party will begin.
• 30 minutes prior to kickoff: The Party will end and all patrons will be asked to make their way to the stadium.

Zone 7. Thunder Island Party Pad (Behind Buffalo Courts & Buff Hall)

• Total spaces available: 1
• Cost: $500 per game
• Available for all home games and must be reserved
• Perfect for hosting large private gameday events.
• The grass space will be the primary tailgate zone for tents, cooking and games.
• Patrons will have parking for up to 30 vehicles aroundthe Thunder Island Party Pad.

Timing

• 6 hours prior to kickoff: The Thunder Island Party Pad may begin.
• 30 minutes prior to kickoff: The Thunder Island Party Pad will end and all patrons will be asked to make their way to the stadium.
• Vehicles will be able to come and go as necessary.

WTAMU Homecoming will be hosted on Saturday,  October 4th. 26th Street will open at the conclusion of the Homecoming Parade which kicks off at 1:00pm. Corporate Partners/tailgate spot holders will have access to 26th Street from 10:30am - 12:30pm to load in, the lot will remain closed for tailgating until the conclusion of the parade.

WTAMU Student Organization Tailgate (Campus Central-26th Street) This is an ALCOHOL-FREE ZONE

Reservations

• Reservations for all tailgating spots will open the Monday prior to the game at 8:00am.
• Total spaces available: 10
• Spaces are 10’ x 20’
• One (1) vehicle per space will be allowed in for set-up and drop-off on gameday.
• Following drop off of equipment, Gameday parking will be located in Zone 14 & Zone 7 (behind Buff Hall & Buffalo Courts)
• Reservations must be placed by Wednesday at 5:00pm the week of the game by contacting the Office of Student Engagement & Leadership
  • Please Note – The first home game for the 2025 season is on Thursday, September 4th; Reservations must be placed by Tuesday, September 2nd.

• In order to claim a tailgating spot, your organization must have completed the student organization registration process (i.e. Buff Link registration, constitution, risk training, and submission of the risk statement). Organizations that have not completed this process will not be able to claim a student organization spot.

ALCOHOL GUIDELINES

All participants must adhere to the guidelines for alcohol consumption. Failure to do so may result in dismissal from campus or referral to law enforcement.

• The possession and use of alcoholic beverages must be in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, as well as West Texas A&M University and Texas A&M University System policies.
• You must be 21 years of age or older to consume or be in possession of alcohol.
• Alcohol consumption is only allowed in designated areas of the Party on 26th.
• Patrons may bring their own alcoholic beverages to approvedareas. Kegs and/or glassbottles are strictly prohibited. There are no exceptions.
• Drinking games involving alcohol (e.g. funnels, beer pong table, etc.) or any other such games are deemed inappropriate by WTAMU an are prohibited.  Any drinking apparatus (e.g. funnels, beer hats, shot ski, etc.) are also prohibited.
• If alcoholic beverages are present, tailgaters must have an adequate amount of food and alternative beverages in the same location.
• Consumption of alcoholic beverages outside of approved alcohol zones is expressly prohibited and will result in expulsion from campus.
• The sale of alcohol by individuals or providing alcohol to anyone other than your guests 21 years of age or older is prohibited. (Serving or providing alcohol to minors is a violation of state law and will be enforced onthe WTAMU campus.)
• Providing unrestricted access to alcohol for your guests is prohibited.
• Guests who become intoxicated and/or create a disturbance will be referred to law enforcement and the host will be asked to close the tailgate.
• Hosts are liable for the behavior of their guests and assume liability for their guests.

Clear Bag Policy will be implemented starting in 2026. For 2025, guests with bags must enter through Gate 1 or Gate 3 and are subject to search. 

Re-entry policy If a fan chooses to leave the stadium after scanning in their original ticket they will not be allowed back in without another ticket.

No field access or access behind the goal post in grass areas without valid credential.

Things You Can't Bring In – Outside food and drink (including items from tailgate), all pets (excluding ADA service animals with visible credentials), artificial noisemakers, illegal substances, tobacco products (including vaping), anything deemed unsafe by police or event staff.
