CANYON, Texas - After only playing one match last week, the West Texas A&M women's soccer team will play three matches in the span of six days. The Lady Buffs open up Lone Star Conference play against rival Eastern New Mexico on Sept. 22, at 4 p.m. in Portales, N.M. WT will travel to take on Dallas Baptist on Sept. 26, at 3:30 p.m. in Dallas, Texas. Texas A&M-International will play at The Pitch for their first time on Sept. 28, at 12 p.m.

SCOUTING EASTERN NEW MEXICOThe Greyhounds enter conference play on a two match winning while outscoring their opponents 3-1 in those matches.

Morgan Fairbanks leads the team in scoring with two goals on just three shots on goal. Melissa Moxley has three points (1 goal, 1 assist) and a team-high 15 shots, 10 of those on goal.

ENMU is defensively sound as they have not allowed more than two goals in any match this season. Goalkeeper Karissa Stinson has not allowed a goal during her 129 minutes on the pitch.

SCOUTING DALLAS BAPTISTAfter defeating No. 4 Colorado mines and Metro State to open the season ,DBU has lost three of their last four with two of defeats coming to LSC members Angelo State and Texas Women's.

DBU is led offensively by Lindsey Washburn and Maddie Owen. Washburn leads the team with two goals while Owens has a team-high two assists. Ashley Cox leads the Patriots with 11 shots, five on goal, but has yet to find the back of the net.

Jenna Ackerly enters the weekend with a .887 save percentage which ranks her 24th in the nation. She has not allowed more than three goals in any match this season.

SCOUTING TEXAS A&M-INTERNATIONALThe Dustdevils enter this week's matchup having lost three straight matches and five of their last six. They have yet to concede more than three goals in a match this season.
Kim Garcia leads the Dustdevils in almost every offensive statistical category. Her three goals, seven points and 11 shots and eight shots on goal are all team-highs. Claudia De Lara leads the team with two assists.

Goalkeeper Chelsea Knaack enters the match with a 1.67 goals allowed average and .833 save percentage. She recorded her lone shutout of the season against UT-Permian Basin.

LONE STAR IN THE POLLSAngelo State is the lone LSC school ranked in the Sept. 22 NSCAA Top 25 poll. The Belles moved up 10 spots from last week and are ranked No. 7. Midwestern State received votes for the second consecutive week.
