CANYON, Texas – The No. 3 West Texas A&M women's basketball team returns home to host Cameron University Saturday at 2 p.m. in the First United Bank Center. WT is 9-2 on the year and 0-1 in Lone Star Conference play, while Cameron is 4-6 overall and 1-0 in league play. Saturday will mark the first game at home since Dec. 14.

The Lady Buffs are coming off of a disappointing 77-64 loss in the conference opener on Wednesday at Midwestern State. WT was hampered by poor shooting in the second half and turnovers as MSU forced 18 miscues leading to a 20-12 lead in points off turnovers. WT shot just 9 of 27 from the field in the second half after opening the game 12 of 22 in the first half. MSU went 15 of 26 in the decisive half outscoring WT 43-33.

Sasha Watson had a career-high 23 points on 6 of 13 from the field and a career-best 11 of 14 from the free throw line with two assists and four steals. Senior
Chontiquah White tallied her fifth double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds, while senior
Haylee Oliver added 11 points off the bench. All five starters for MSU were in double figures led by a team-high 17 points and nine rebounds from Andrea Carter.
The Lady Buffs had their nine-game winning streak snapped with the loss as it was just the second conference loss under second year head coach
Mark Kellogg. WT lost on the road last season at Tarleton State in conference play.
Cameron returns to the First United Bank Center for the second time this season as it participated in the WT PAK-A-SAK Thanksgiving Classic where the Aggies went 1-1 with a victory over Harding and a loss to Truman State. The Aggies have gone 3-1 since including a 76-56 victory over Eastern New Mexico in the conference opener. In that game, Jazzmine Robinson scored 19 points and pulled down 10 rebounds on 6 of 14 from the field and 6 of 7 from the line with a triple. Brandi Leal added 14 points and Markita Zeigler chipped in 10 points as the Aggies dominated the glass to the tune of 41-24 and held ENMU to just 38.6 percent shooting. Cameron blew open a 31-29 lead at halftime, outscoring ENMU 45-27 in the second half.
The Lady Buffs are led by White who is averaging 18.0 points per game and 9.5 rebounds per game. White leads the team in shooting at 68 of 125 for a .544 clip and is 59 of 74 from the line for a .797 average. Watson is second on the team in scoring at 13.3 points and is 52 of 92 from the field for a team-best .565 clip and is 41 of 69 from the line. She leads the team with 34 assists and 37 steals. Junior

As a team, the Lady Buffs are shooting .470 from the field on 302 of 642. They are 62 of 184 from beyond the arc for a .337 clip and are 175 of 260 from the line for a .673 clip. WT is averaging 38.6 rebounds per game and allowing 31.9. The Lady Buffs are averaging 76.5 points per game and allowing 64.6.

Cameron enters the game with Robinson who leads the team averaging 18.0 points per game and 9.3 rebounds per game as both she and White are the top two in the LSC in scoring and second and third in rebounding. Robinson is 66 of 151 from the field for a .437 clip and is 14 of 34 from beyond the arc which is good for third on the team. She is a team-best 34 of 50 from the line. Robinson is tied for the team-lead in assists with 29 and 16 steals. Brandi Leal is second in scoring at 12.2 points per game. Leal leads the team with 32 made triples and is 41 of 104 from the field, while Jade Herl is second in made triples with 29 and third in scoring at 11 points per game.
As a team, the Aggies are shooting .395 from the field, but have made 78 triples to lead the conference at a .368 clip. CU is 144 of 222 from the line for a .649 average. The Aggies average 38.4 rebounds per game, but allow 39.9 per contest. CU is scoring 70.4 points per game and allowing 79.5 per contest.

th nationally. Robinson leads the conference in defensive rebounds at eight per game and is 25
th nationally, while Leal ranks ninth nationally in 3-point field goals per game at 3.20 per contest and Herl is 28
th at 2.90 per game.
WT leads the all-time series with Cameron 35-3 including winning all three meetings last season. The Lady Buffs won 83-57 in Canyon on Feb. 15 and won 73-66 in Lawton, Okla., Jan. 11, while winning 64-53 in the first round of the LSC Championships in Allen, Texas, in March. WT has won six-straight in the series and 16 of 17. The lone loss was a 60-56 setback in Canyon on Jan. 14, 2012. Prior to that, Cameron hadn't won since a 78-75 setback in overtime on Nov. 20, 2001, in Lawton.
