Career: Has played in 59 games with 29 starts in two seasons. She is 176 of 313 from the field for a .562 average. Watson has nailed nine triples and is 123 of 202 from the line for a .609 clip. 2014-15: Had a breakout season as a sophomore for the Lady Buffs. Watson finshed second on the team in scoring at 13.0 points. She played in all 33 games with 29 starts. She went 154 of 266 from the field for a team-best .579 clip. She was 114 of 178 from the line (.640) and had a team-high 127 assists and 83 steals. Watson scored 430 points on the year. She earned PAK-A-SAK Thanksgiving Classic All-Tournament honors, named LSC Defensive Player of the Week and was a two-time LSC Offensive Player of the Week. She was named LSC Defensive Player of the Year, first team all-conference and was named to the LSC All-Defensive Team. Earned second team Daktronics all-South Central Region and was named All-South Central Region Tournament Most Outstanding Player. She had one double-double this season with a career-high 29 points at Texas A&M-Commerce (2/21/15) and pulled down a career-high 10 assists, while making a career-best 10 field goals against the Lions. She had nine games leading the team in scoring, one in rebounding, 20 in assists, 16 in steals, one in blocks and had five games of 20 or more points. She had 24 games in double figures. She was 184th nationally in assist/turnover ratio at 1.09 and finished 92nd in assists at 3.8 per game to lead the LSC. She also led the LSC in steals at 2.5 per game and 33rd nationally.
2013-14: Played in 26 games as a true freshman for the Lady Buffs. Went 22 of 47 from the field (.468) and 1 of 5 from beyond the arc. Watson went 9 of 24 from the line and pulled down 23 rebounds. Tallied 27 assists with two blocks and 11 steals at the point guard position. Averaged 2.1 points for the season. Went a season-best 3 of 4 fro mthe field and one triple with seven points at Oklahoma Panhandle State (11/19). Recorded a season-high 15 minutes at Arkansas-Fort Smith. Logged eight minutes with two made field goals against Limestone in the Elite Eight (3/25).
Palo Duro High School: Helped lead her team to a 25-8 record as she earned all-state honors as a point guard her senior year. Was a first team all-district honoree and was Golden Spread Player of the Year. She also earned first team superteam honors and was named district MVP. Averaged 19.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 3.9 steals. She shot 47.3 percent from the field, 34.8 from beyond the arc and 61 percent from the line. She was a member of National Honor Society.
Personal: Born June 28, 1995. Parents are Gina Moore-Davis and Ronnie Watson-Stiger. Has six siblings. Plans on majoring in psychology at WT.
