CANYON, Texas – The Buffaloes of West Texas A&M had three golfers finished tied for 10^th as WT claimed a seventh-place finish at the Oak Tree Invitational hosted by Oklahoma Christian at Oak Tree Country Club in Edmond.
 
Luis Palomo, Santiago Caride and Jose Rozas all finished tied for 10^th on the individual leaderboard with a 223 (+13). Rozas fired a team-best 72 during Tuesday's final round with three birdies on the back-nine. 
 
The Buffs shot rounds of 304, 303 and 309 for a 916 (+76) as they registered eight birdies during Tuesday's final round. UT Tyler fired a +53 (893) to claim the team championship by five-strokes over Central Oklahoma (+58, 898).
 
Seth Bearden of Midwestern State won the individual championship with rounds of 70, 68 and 71 for a -1 (209) as he claimed a four-stroke win over Seth Campbell of UT Tyler (213, +3).
 
The Buffs return to the course on March 24-25 as they travel to Lenoir City, Tennessee to take part in the Tennessee River Rumble hosted by Lincoln Memorial at WindRiver Golf Club.
