Biography
2022-23:
Palomo, an Honorable Mention All-LSC selection, competed in 36 rounds during 12 tournaments for the Buffs during his true-freshman campaign in 2022-23. He registered a season stroke average of 73.08 with par-or-better scores in 17 rounds including six rounds in the 60s, notching countable totals in 33 of his 36 competitive rounds. His best finish came at the Hardscrabble Invitational where he finished second overall with rounds of 78, 71 and 69 for a 212 (+2). Palomo registered season-best card of 66 (-6) during the opening round of the Palm Valley Classic to tie the second lowest single-round score in program history.
At Ies Car Sant Cugat:
Palomo joined the Buffs following a standout prep career at Ies Car Sant Cugat in Sant Cugat, Barcelona. He was a part of the Campionat de Catalunya Interclubs Boys Championship team while finishing in the top-three at Golf de Pals Cup, Puntuable Nacional Juvenil and the Mediterranean Championship.

Born April 16, 2004. Luis is the son of Luis and Elena Palomo and he has one sister, Elena and he plans to major in Business at West Texas A&M.
