CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M's Luis Palomo fired a 70 on Tuesday to finish tied for 15^th at the 11^th annual Rattler Invitational at The Dominion Country Club in San Antonio, Texas.
 
The junior from Barcelona, Spain registered rounds of 76, 71 and 72 for a 219 (+3) to lead the way for the Buffaloes, he tallied a pair of birdies to go along with an eagle on the 404 yard par-four first hole.
 
Bryce Womack of Midland College tallied a 209 (-7) to claim the individual championship by one stroke over Kongpop Kaikaew of St. Mary's and Samuel Jenkins of DBU (-6, 210).
 
The host Rattlers fired rounds of 290, 288 and 277 for a team total of 855 (-9) to win the team crown by eight strokes over Midland College (-1, 863). DBU and UT Tyler shot a 876 (+12) to finish tied for third followed by Texas A&M International (+15, 879) to round out the top-five.
 
The Buffs registered rounds of 305, 292 and 300 for a team total of 897 (+33) to finish 10^th on the team leaderboard.
 
WT returns to the course on March 17-18 as they take part in the Oak Tree Invitational hosted by Oklahoma Christian at Oak Tree Country Club in Edmond.
