9ANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M men's golf fired a 293 (+9) during Tuesday's final round as they finished sixth at the Folds of Honor Challenge hosted by Grand Valley State at The Meadows Golf Club in Allendale, Michigan.

Caride and Estas led the way for the Buffs with identical scores of 219 (+6) to finish tied for ninth. Castano and Palomo sat tied for 19
th (+11) followed by De Le Concepcion Quilez (+20) in 36
th.

The Buffs shot rounds of 292, 300 and 293 to finish +33 with an 885 to sit sixth on the team leaderboard. Host Grand Valley State shot a 281 (-3) during Tuesday's final round to claim a two-stroke victory over Aurora University (862, +12). Adam Bresnu of Odessa College carded rounds of 70, 66 and 65 for an eight-stroke win (201, 12) over GVSU's Drew Coble (-4, 209).

The Buffs return to the course on September 30 as they travel to Ruidoso, New Mexico to take part in the RJGA South Central Shootout at the Inn of the Mountain Gods Golf Club.
