CANYON, Texas – The Buffaloes of West Texas A&M sit third on the team leaderboard following the opening round of the Folds of Honor Challenge at The Meadows Golf Club in Allendale, Michigan.
 
WT shot a +8 (292) highlighted by a pair of one-over park 72's by Luis Palomo and Victor Estas as they sit tied for ninth overall. Reigning LSC Golfer of the Week Santiago Caride is 12^th on the individual leaderboard with a 73 (+2).
 
Aurora University holds a three-stroke lead on the team leaderboard with a 285 (+1) over Mississippi Gulf Coast (+4, 288), WT (292, +8), Illinois Wesleyan (+12, 296) and host Grand Valley State (297, +13) to round out the top five. John Mark Mills of MGC fired a -2 (69) during Sunday's round to hold a one-stroke lead on the individual leaderboard over AU's Braedon Duncan and Adam Bresnu of Odessa College (-1, 70).
 
Monday's tee times begin at 7:30 a.m. with a shotgun start, the Buffs will be paired with Aurora and Mississippi Gulf Coast.
