CANYON, Texas -- On Friday, West Texas A&M softball head coach
Michael Mook announced the signing of seven players from around the country on National Signing Day (Nov. 13). Of the seven players signed, five come from the Texas Panhandle.

Emilee Bridges
Utility | Borger, Texas | Borger High School
Â
Emilee Bridges stays in the Texas Panhandle following her career at Borger High School. During her time at Borger, the utility player batted .450 in both her freshman and sophomore seasons where she was named Second Team All-District. The Borger, Texas product has also lettered in basketball, cheer, track, and volleyball.

Briley Daniels
OF | Pampa, Texas | Pampa High School

Briley Daniels is currently finishing her career at nearby Pampa High School. Daniels posted a standout season in her junior campaign where she batted .415 with 30 RBIs, seven stolen bases, and a 1.164 OPS while helping her team to a Regional Semifinal championship. Daniels was named a First Team All-District, Academic All-District, and TSWA Bluebell Honorable Mention honoree. Daniels has also lettered in basketball, cross country, and track and field for the Harvesters.

Maddie Hight
IF/OF | Canyon, Texas | Canyon High School

Maddie High joins the Lady Buffs following her career at Canyon High School. In her junior season, High produced a .406 batting average with a 1.412 OPS and .981 fielding percentage. Following the season, High earned First Team All-District and team MVP honors. Hight is a four-year varsity starter for the Lady Eagles while also lettering in basketball.

Landri Holcomb
Utility | Amarillo, Texas | Randall High School

Landri Holcomb stays in the Texas Panhandle after she finishes her high school career at Randall High School. As a member of the Lady Raiders, Holcomb batted .424 with eight home runs. Holcomb earned First Team All-District, Academic All-District, and Offensive MVP honors following her junior campaign. The Amarillo, Texas native also earned Second Team All-District accolades as a sophomore and Honorable Mention All-District honors in her freshman season. Holcomb has also lettered in basketball and powerlifting at Randall High.

Bella Holland
Utility | Farmersville, Texas | Farmersville High School

Bella Holland comes to the Texas Panhandle from Farmersville, Texas. In her junior season, Holland earned District Offensive MVP, TGCA All-Star, and Texas Sportswriters Association All-State team honors. Holland also earned TGCA All-State honors in her sophomore season after earning First Team All-District accolades in her freshman season. The Farmersville, Texas native also lettered in volleyball for the Lady Farmers.

Brooke Janning

Brooke Janning comes to West Texas after finishing her high school career at Blair High School. In her senior season, Janning led her team to a third-place finish with a 31-9 record. Janning hit .495 with a .545 on-base percentage, 26 walks, and 5 home runs while producing a 1.47 ERA and 326 strikeouts in the circle. She was named a First Team All-Nebraska team member while being named a Class B honorary Captain. In her junior season, Janning batted .500 with a .545 on-base percentage and two home runs while throwing 81.2 innings with 64 strikeouts.

Ava Sharp

Ava Sharp joins the Lady Buffs from nearby River Road High school. In her junior season, Sharp helped the Wildcats to the Regional Semifinals while being named First Team All-District and District Pitcher of the Year. Sharp has tallied 156 hits, 166 runs scored, 273 strikeouts, and 45 home runs while at River Road. She also participates in volleyball where she was the Offensive MVP and First team All-District.
