CANYON. Texas – Chad Webb has announced his resignation as the head coach of the West Texas A&M Lady Buff Soccer program effective immediately.
 
"We appreciate Coach Webb's commitment to the WT women's soccer program over the last 15 seasons and we wish him and his family well in the future" said Vice President of Athletics Doug Lipinski.
 
Webb finishes his time at West Texas A&M with an overall record of 141-112-32 (.551) with an 83-69-21 (.540) mark in LSC play during 15 seasons, leading the team to five Lone Star Conference Championships. The Lady Buffs made four trips to the NCAA Tournament (2012, 2017, 2018, 2022), winning the South Central Regional Title in 2018.
 
A comprehensive, national search for a new head coach will begin immediately.
