Round 1 Results
 
DENTON, Texas – Competing in a loaded field at the Dallas Baptist Women's Classic, the West Texas A&M women's golf team battled to a fourth-place finish after the first round. The Lady Buffs ended the day with a team score of four-over par, 291, and are two strokes behind Findlay.
 
Sarah Reed leads the Lady Buffs as the freshman turned in an even-par, 72, to end tied for 11^th. Gam Songprasert, Lorenza Perini, and Antonella Periotti Omisolo each carded a one-over, 73. The WT trio ended the first 18 holes tied for 19^th.  Anna Nomrowksi finished the day tied for 40^th at three-over, 75. Rylie Cook, playing as an individual, turned in a score of five-over, 77.
 
The Lady Buffs continue the DBU Classic tomorrow with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
