2022-23: Competed in every round for the Lady Buffs with a season stroke average of 75.12. Posted five top-10 finishes including a T2 finish at the West Regional Championship. Helped her team to win the Lone Star Conference Championship. Honored by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) as an honorable mention All-American.
2020-21: Won her first college tournament at the West Texas A&M Fall Invitational, firing 72-71. Competed in every round for the Lady Buffs with a season stroke average of 77.44. Narrowly missed qualifying for the NCAA National Championship as an individual after a stellar postseason performance at the NCAA Region West Championships placing 7th with 72-75-74. Honored by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) as an All-American Scholar.
Stanton County High School: Graduated in 2020. Was named the 2020 Best of Kansas Prep Girls Golfer of the Year after winning her second straight 1-3A State Championship. Also went undefeated as a junior and senior. Finished T10th at the 2020 National Invitation at Pinehurst. Also lettered in basketball and cross country. Principal’s High Honor Roll. Kansas Honor Scholar.
Personal: Born on March 15, 2002. Daughter of Kyla and Marty Cook. Has one sibling. Plans on majoring in general business.
Coach Jameson’s Take: Rylie is a true competitor who can score low on the course when it matters most. As a freshman, she overcame adversity and really showed how strong her game and mind is. Her experience winning state in high school shows that she knows how to make clutch shots under pressure to win. On a less serious note, she has an infectious laugh, which is great for a coach to hear when the team is together in the van and on the road traveling.
