LSC Golfer of the Week (10/28/22, 9/14/23)
2024-25: Competed in every round for the Lady Buffs... Finished as the No. 14 ranked individual in Division II with a an adjusted scoring average of 72.2... Posted nine Top 10 finishes including a win at the WT West Regional Preview... Named First Team All-Conference, WGCA All-Region and WGCA First Team All-American... Helped WT to a NCAA National Championships appearance and NCAA Quarterfinal appearance...
2022-23: Competed in every round for the Lady Buffs with a season stroke average of 75.12. Posted eight top-10 finishes including a win at the St. Mary's Rattler Invitational. Helped her team to win the Lone Star Conference Championship. Honored by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) as an All-Region and Second Team All-American honoree and received the Association's Kim Moore Spirit Award.
2020-21: Redshirted due to Covid delaying her arrival on campus. Excelled in her first academic year while taking online courses and working on her game.
Before WT: One of the top amateur golfers in Thailand highlighted by her first-place finish at the 2017 Thailand Regional Championships with a total score of 230 (77-75-78). She also finished in the Top 10 at the 2018 TGA Singha Junior Golf Championships and Thailand National Championships.
Coach Jameson’s Take: Gam is an extremely strong competitor from Thailand. The list of her strengths on the course are too numerous to list, but her greatest strength is her maturity on the golf course. She visualizes how a hole should be played very well and knows when to be more aggressive or conservative based on the situation. As Gam enters her final season representing The Maroon and White, she is hungry to add more Championship wins to her legacy at WT. The way in which she leads the underclassmen through her quiet personality is truly amazing. As a coach and mom, I hope my own children have leaders on their teams that guide them as Gam does the team.
