United Soccer Coaches Top-25 Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Despite being off since the last poll was released, the West Texas A&M women's soccer team moved up one spot to 10th in the United Soccer Coaches Division II Top-25 Poll.

The Lady Buffs, 6-0-0 overall, come off a 3-0 win over CSU Pueblo on Sept. 10. In that game,
Asha James scored two goals with
Mandy Stricker assisting on both.
Maria-Frances Serrant accounted for WT's third goal after she scored off a pass from
Reagan Matacale.

The top-10 saw a shift in teams, but Dallas Baptist remained atop the rankings. Embry-Riddle moved up one to No. 2 while Columbus State moved into the third spot. Central Missouri took over No. 4 with West Chester staying at No. 5. Point Loma Nazarene and Grand Valley State occupy the sixth and seventh spots, respectively. Southern New Hampshire moved from 13
th to eighth while Catawba held firm at No. 9. The Lady Buffs moved up one to round out the top-10.

The Lady Buffs return to action tomorrow night for their Lone Star Conference opener against UT Permian Basin. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
