Eemeli Jarvinen and
Kolton Baber fired in the red on Friday afternoon during the NCAA Division II South Central/West Regional Championships at Pueblo Country Club (Par 71 – 6,522 Yards) in Pueblo, Colorado as the Buffs sit tied for ninth on the team leaderboard.
The Buffs registered 15 birdies during Friday's second round to go along with an eagle by Jarvinen on the 555-yard par-five 11
thhole, the senior from Finland native shot a two-under 69 with three feathers to sit tied for 20
th (-1). Baber also shot a 69 (-2) during the round with four birdies as the Devol, Oklahoma product sits tied for 25
th (E).
Midwestern State shot an incredible 271 (-13) during Friday's second round as they hold a one-stroke lead over Colorado Mesa on the team leaderboard heading into the final round. Jake Doggett of MSU and Dakota Gillman of Colorado Mesa are tied atop of the individual leaderboard at -7 (135).
WT will be paired with Texas A&M-Commerce and Cal State San Bernardino on Saturday as their final round begins at 10 a.m. MT on the first hole.
