2021-22:
Baber competed in 23 rounds during eight tournaments for the Buffs during his junior campaign in 2021-22. He registered a season stroke average of 73.65 with par-or-better scores in seven rounds including two rounds in the 60s, notching countable totals in 16 of his 23 competitive rounds. His best finish came at the Lone Star Conference Men's Golf Championship with cards of 68, 71 and 70 for a 209 (-7) followed by rounds in the red of 71 and 68 during Medal Match Play for victories in both the semifinal and championship round.

At Midwestern State:
Baber comes to Canyon from Lone Star Conference rival Midwestern State where he played three seasons for the Mustangs under head coach Jeff Ray. He saw time in 71 rounds over 25 tournaments during his time in Wichita Falls with a scoring average of 74.74 with par-or-better scores in 19 rounds including three rounds in the 60s. 

At Big Pasture High School:
Baber was a four-year letter winner for coach Chuck Storm at Big Pasture High School in Randlett, Oklahoma where he claimed the Oklahoma Class 2A Individual State Title as a junior in 2017. He was the Oklahoma Class 2A State Runner-Up as a senior in 2018 firing scores of 69, 65 and 72 for a 10-under total of 206 at the Lake Hefner North Golf Course. He competed on the Texas and Oklahoma Junior Golf Tournament circuits while also excelling in the classroom as a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal:
Born August 23, 1999. Kolton is the son of Steven and Shelley Baber and he has one sister, Kelsey. Majoring in Agriculture Business at West Texas A&M.
