CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M fired a 293 (+13) on Tuesday during the final round of the Hardscrabble Invitational hosted by UAFS at Hardscrabble Country Club (Par 70 – 6,783 Yards) to finish fourth as a team while
Daniel Unger tied for sixth to lead the way for the Buffs.
WT registered 11 birdies during Tuesday's final round including four by
Eemeli Jarvinen as the senior from Helsinki shot a three-over 70 to finish eighth. Unger was consistent all afternoon as the junior had two feathers and two bogeys for an even-par 70 to lead the way for WT tied for sixth.
Rogers State claimed the team championship as the Hillcats fired an 852 (+12) as a team highlighted by an even-par 280 on Tuesday for the 35-stroke victory over Maryville University (+27, 887). RSU's Luke Palmowski picked up the individual crown with a 203 (-7) including a one-under 69 in the final round for an eight-stroke win over Maryville's Kai Chun Hsu (+1, 211).
The Buffs return to action on March 14-15 as they travel to Edmond, Oklahoma to take part in the Oak Tree Invitational hosted by Oklahoma Christian at Oak Tree Country Club.
