Eemeli Jarvinen sits tied for sixth after the opening day of the Hardscrabble Invitational held at Hardscrabble Country Club (Par 72 – 6,783 Yards) as the Buffs sit tied for fourth after two rounds in the event hosted by Arkansas-Fort Smith.
WT registered 15 birdies during Monday's action including nine in the second round to fire a 597 (+37) to sit tied with the host Lions heading into the final round on Tuesday. Round one saw
Kolton Baber register a pair of eagles on hole six and eleven on his way to a +6 (76).
Rogers State fired a 572 (+12) on Monday to lead the way as a team by 18 strokes over Missouri Southern State (+30, 590). Luke Palmowski of RSU shot a six-under 64 in the opening round followed by an even-par 70 to sit atop of the individual leaderboard with a 134 (-6) for an eight-stroke lead.
Tuesday's final round will see the Buffs paired with Arkansas-Fort Smith and Arkansas-Monticello beginning on holes 4-7 with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. WT's
Pablo Rebolleda is playing the event as an individual and he will start Tuesday on the par-three 15
thhole along with Alexander Apolskis (UAFS) and Preston Patterson (State Fair CC).
