CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M men's golf opened up their spring schedule with a 10
th place finish at the Rattler Invitational hosted by St. Mary's at The Dominion Country Club (Par 72 – 6,937 Yards) in San Antonio, Texas.
Daniel Unger led the way for the Buffs during Tuesday's final round as the junior from Karlstad, Sweden shot an even-par 72 highlighted by birdies on hole one, two and ten to finish the event tied for 39
th with a 226 (+10).
Harry Walch finished tied for 21
st as he shot a two-over 74 in the final round to finish at +6 (222).
The Cameron Aggies fired a four-under 284 on Tuesday to finish with an 874 (+10) claim the team championship by one stroke over Texas A&M-Commerce. Midwestern State's Jake Doggett shot in the red during two of the three rounds highlighted by a 68 (-4) on Tuesday to win the individual crown by six strokes (210, -6).
