The Buffs defeated the Rams earlier this season, 88-73, in Canyon behind a career-high 32 points from Qua Grant. After trailing by one at halftime, WT outscored ASU by 16 points in the second half to extend their win streak in the series to eight games.

A LOOK BACK AT LUBBOCK CHRISTIAN
Eric Mosley recorded his first career double-double as No. 3 West Texas A&M defeated Lubbock Christian 72-67 on Thursday evening at the Rip Griffin Center. WT improves to 22-1 overall and 14-1 in Lone Star Conference play with its first victory in Lubbock since 2006.

Joel Murray finished with a game-high 23 points after shooting 7-of-17 from the floor, 3-of-10 from beyond the arc and 6-of-6 from the free throw line. Mosley became the first Buff not named Grant to pick up a double-double this season with 15 points and 10 rebounds after making a career-high five 3-pointers. Jon'il Fugett also reached double figures with 12 including four assists.

STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
The Buffs current 13-game win streak is tied for the third longest active streak in NCAA DII men's basketball. Only Lincoln Memorial (22) and UC San Diego have a longer current streak than WT.

Even after forcing a season-low 11 turnovers on Thursday, WT still leads the nation in turnovers forced (21.6/game), total steals (233) and turnover margin (8.9). Their 95.7-win percentage is also top in the nation as well tied with LMU and UCSD.

Over the past four games, WT is 45-of-141 (31.9%) from beyond the arc including 15 makes on Thursday. On the season, WT is one seven schools in NCAA DII men's basketball to have attempted over 700 3-pointers with Adelphi leading the nation with 777.

Grant had scored in double figures in 26 straight games until Thursday when he was held to a season-low six points on 2-of-9 shooting from the floor. In his two career trips to Lubbock the sophomore has scored a total of eight points going 3-of-16 from the floor.

Over the past two games, Murray is averaging 27.5 points shooting 18-of-37 from the floor, 9-of-22 from 3-point range and a perfect 10-of-10 from the free throw line. He followed up his career-high 32-point performance against UT Permian Basin with 23 points and three assists against LCU. He scored the final five points of the game including a deep 3-pointer to put WT up five in the final minute.

Mosley played arguably his best game as a Buff on Thursday registering a career-high in points, rebounds and 3-pointers made. The senior, who was part of the same recruiting class as LSC and WT all-time leading scorer David Chavlovich, connected on five of his 10 3-pointers for 15 points while pulling down 10 rebounds for his first career double-double.

A LOOK AT ANGELO STATE

In their first meeting this season, Turner scored 14 points on 4-of-6 shooting from the floor and 5-of-8 from the free throw line.

Jeremy Hayes and Ronald Bell are both averaging 14.1 points per contest. Hayes has started in all 19 games this season but has failed to reach double figures in four of his last six starts. Bell was held scoreless in 15 minutes against the Buffs in their first meeting where he turned the ball over three times.

Andres Ibarguen is nearly averaging a double-double for the Rams at 13 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. The senior from Santa Marta, Colombia had one of his best games of the season when he faced off against WT finishing with 27 points and eight rebounds going 11-of-12 from the floor.

Lincoln Memorial remained second with West Texas A&M in third and UC San Diego in fourth while Nova Southeastern moved up a spot to fifth. Florida Southern is now sixth with Azusa Pacific, St. Edward's, Indiana (Pa.) and Jefferson rounding out the Top 10. Angelo State was back to receiving votes following wins over UT Tyler and Texas A&M-Commerce.

The Buffs are also ranked fourth in the D2SIDA Division II, up one spot from last week. WT took the spot of Indiana (Pa.), who dropped to sixth following their six-point loss to Mercyhurst on the road.

According to Wayne Cavardi of the NCAA, WT is ranked third in the Power 10 rankings behind Lincoln Memorial and Northwest Missouri State. He also has the Buffs picked to host the regional tournament in March. In the Massey Ratings, WT sits fourth, behind UC San Diego, Lincoln Memorial and Northwest Missouri State.

BUFFALO CHIPS
Murray's 233 career assists are the 10th most in program history, seven short of passing Martin Lattibeaudiere for ninth. His 115 steals are also tied for the fifth-most with Lattibeaudiere.

Grant has already made and taken more free throws this season than he did in 38 games as a freshman. The Waxahachie native ranks 12th in the nation in attempts (162) and 29th in makes (114).
