CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M junior guard Fontaine Williams has been honored for his efforts on the hardwood as a member of the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) All-South Central Region Second Team announced on Thursday morning.
 
The guard from Wichita, Kansas led the way offensively for the Buffs this season, going 190-of-416 (45.7%) from the floor including 61-of-147 (41.5%) from behind the arc and 173-of-200 (86.5%) from the free throw line to average 20.5 points per game to go along with 60 rebounds, 74 assists, two blocks and 39 steals.'
 
Williams reached double-figures in 29 of his 30 appearances this season, scoring 20+ points in 15 contests. The First Team All-LSC selection finished 17^th nationally in total points (614) while sitting 25^th in points per game (20.5) and 12^th in made free throws (173).
