CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M had three different student-athletes recognized by the Lone Star Conference on Wednesday evening during the league's annual postseason awards banquet held in Frisco, Texas prior to the start of the LSC Championships.

Fontaine Williams was selected to the All-LSC First Team while
Brock Mishak was named to the Second Team.
Zach Brown was honored for his efforts on the court as a member of the All-Freshman squad. Mishak was also recognized for his work in the classroom as the junior from Fort Collins, Colorado was named to the LSC All-Academic squad.

Amondo Miller Jr. of Lubbock Christian was tabbed the league's Player of the Year while DBU's Xavion Brow was named the Defensive Player of the Year. Ryder Bradley of St. Edward's was selected the LSC Freshman of the Year while LCU's Antonio Pusateri earned Newcomer of the Year honors.

TJ Thomas of DBU was tabbed the LSC Sixth Man of the Year while Western New Mexico's Mark Bunker was selected the league's Coach of the Year. Mo Austin of Eastern New Mexico was honored for his efforts in the classroom as the LSC Academic Player of the Year.

The Buffs are the seventh seed in this weekend's Lone Star Conference Championships as they take on the two-seed #11 Greyhounds of Eastern New Mexico with tipoff set for 2:30 p.m. on Thursday in the quarterfinal round at the Comerica Center in Frisco.
