CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M men's golf will begin their 2019 season at a familiar course as they host the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invitational at Tascosa Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday to mark the seventh straight season that the Buffs will open their fall season at home. A shotgun stars begins at 9 a.m. on Monday morning.

Palmer, an Amarillo native and current PGA Professional, created his foundation in 2003 which creates life-change and brighter futures for communities and underserved families by offering access to education, self-care and personal development. The Amarillo High product has claimed four victories on the PGA Tour including the Zurich Classic of New Orleans back on April 28
thwith teammate John Rahm.

The Buffs will welcome 16 opponents to Tascosa Golf Club for a pair of rounds on Monday followed by the final round on Tuesday morning, the field includes seven participants in last year's NCAA West/South Central Regional Championship along with the 2019 NJCAA National Runner-Up.

Eric Moore returns three student-athletes from last year's squad to go along with six newcomers including five true freshmen. The Buffs will open the fall with a lineup of
