Santiago Caride fired rounds of 74 and 71 on Monday for a 145 (+1) as the senior sits tied for ninth after 36 holes at the Firekeeper Open (Par 72 – 7,125 Yards) at Firekeeper Golf Club in Mayetta, Kansas.
Caride registered six birdies on Monday with five of them coming in the second round. The field features six teams ranked inside of the Clippd Golf Top-50. Central Oklahoma (-6, 570) holds an eight-stroke lead over Washburn (578, +2). Myles Tarvin of Washburn shot rounds of 68 and 69 for a 137 (-7) to hold a one-stroke lead over Rhett Hughes of Central Oklahoma (-6, 138).
The Buffs will be paired with Washburn, Arkansas Tech and Winona State during the final round beginning at 9:00 a.m. CT with a shotgun start.
