CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M men's golf travels to Mayetta, Kansas on Monday and Tuesday as they take part in the Firekeeper Open at Firekeeper Golf Course & Resort (Par 72 -7,125 Yards)..
 
The Buffs are coming off a third-place finish at The Sem Proal last week in Pueblo, Colorado Freshman Jack Lankford shot rounds of 69, 70 and 69 for a 208 (-5) to finish tied for third at Pueblo Country Club.
 
The 17-team field in Kansas features: Central Missouri, Winona State, Washburn, Southern Arkansas, Central Oklahoma, Concordia St. Paul, Southwestern Oklahoma State, Missouri Southern, Missouri Western, Oklahoma Christian, Arkansas Tech, Fort Hays State, Minnesota-Crookston, Newman, Minnesota State and West Texas A&M.
 
The Buffs will be paired with the host Ichabods along with Arkansas Tech and Missouri Western during the first two rounds starting on Monday at 9:00 a.m. CT. with a shotgun start.
