AUSTIN, Texas – West Texas A&M finishes 16
th at the St. Edward's Invitational hosted at the Onion Creek Golf Club in Austin, Texas. The Buffs carded a 303 in the first round, followed by a pair of 305 rounds to complete the tournament at 913 (+73).
Oklahoma Christian and MSU-Texas battled in the final round to tie for the win at 849 (+9) defeating St. Mary's who finished at second with a three round score 851 (+11). Western New Mexico finished fourth (+15) followed by St. Edward's (+17) at fifth.
Eemeli Jarvinen was the top performer for the Buffs finishing with a tie at 27
th, carding a 217 (+7) with a career best 65 first round and a pair of 76 rounds. Finishing tied at 55
th was senior
Collin Bumpass with a 226 (+16), followed by
Michael Hodson tied at 76
th (+25) and Colton McCains at 80
th (+28).
