CANYON, Texas – The #18 Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M trailed by as many as nine points in the fourth quarter before storming back on Senior Night to pick up a Lone Star Conference overtime victory over the rival Greyhounds of Eastern New Mexico during the ESPN3 Division II Showcase at the First United Bank Center in Canyon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lady Buffs were led offensively by
Lexy Hightower who went 7-of-17 from the floor and 3-of-9 from deep for a game-high 19 points followed by
Tyesha Taylor with 14 and
Deleyah Harris with 12, Harris grabbed 15 rebounds for a double-double while Hightower and
Delaney Nix dished out a pair of assists each.
- Tilasha Okey scored a team-high 11 points for the Greyhounds followed by Treyanna Clay and Shelby Jones with 10 each, Jones finished the game with nine rebounds while Clay and Zamorye Cox dished out two assists each.

FIRST HALF
- The Lady Buffs finished the first half going 11-of-30 (36.7%) from the floor including 3-of-11 (27.3%) from behind the arc and 2-of-4 (50%) from the free throw line with 17 rebounds (five offensive, 12 defensive), four assists, 10 turnovers, no blocks and five steals.
- Eastern New Mexico went 11-of-25 (44%) from the floor in the first half including 3-of-7 (42.9%) from deep and a perfect 6-of-6 from the charity stripe with 13 total rebounds (one offensive, 12 defensive), three assists, eight turnovers, five steals and no blocks.
SECOND HALF
- WT finished the game going 23-of-63 (36.5%) from the field including 5-of-25 (20%) from deep and 16-of-22 (72.7%) from the charity stripe with 47 rebounds (15 offensive, 32 defensive), six assists, 20 turnovers, three blocks and 11 steals in the win.

The Lady Buffs hit the road for the final time this regular season on Thursday night as they head to Denton, Texas to take on the Texas Woman's Pioneers in the Lone Star Conference finale starting at 7 p.m. at Kitty Magee Arena. WT controls their own destiny as they will clinch atleast a share of the LSC Regular Season Title and the top seed in the LSC Championship with a win on Thursday night.
