A LOOK AT THE LADY BUFFS
West Texas A&M are 4-5-0 overall and 3-2-0 in Lone Star Conference play after dropping a pair of 1-0 decision to Texas Woman's and No. 13 Dallas Baptist over the weekend.Â

The Lady Buffs return home to the friendly confines of The Pitch where they have won three straight after dropping the season opener to Adams State. They have outscored their opponents 6-2 during that stretch with
Hannah Kelley-Lusk providing three of those goals.

Daniela Estrada has started the last five matches in goal for the Lady Buffs having made 31 saves while only allowing five goals.

A LOOK AT ANGELO STATE
Angelo State enters the week 9-1-1 overall and 5-0-1 in LSC play following a 2-1 victory over UT Permian Basin on Saturday. The Rambelles are unbeaten over their last games including a 1-0 victory over then No. 7 Colorado School of Mines.Â

The Rambelles are scoring more than two goals a game led by reigning Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week, Avery McNeme. The Lubbock product has started in all 11 games where she has provided a conference leading eight assists to go along with three goals. McNeme is joined in the attack by senior Trenadey Scott. The former South Central Region Player of the Year has scored five goals of her own to go along with three assists for 13 points. Valerie Solis has also had a strong start to her freshman season with four goals and four assists.

Kira Miller has been the goalkeeper of choice for the Rambelles having started in all 11 games for a total of 1004:14 minutes. The sophomore has only allowed eight goals for a .72 goals against average with 35 saves and 5.5 shutouts.Â

ASU is led by 11th year head coach Travis McCorkle, who is 124-66-18 during his time in San Angelo. The Glenwood Springs, Colo. native has led the Rambelles to double digit victories nine times to go along with three LSC Championships and four NCAA postseason appearances.Â

THE SERIES
The Lady Buffs lead the all-time series 20-14-7 that dates back to October 11, 1996. WT has won four of the last five matchups including a 2-1 victory at home last year to clinch the Lone Star Conference Championship.Â

HE LAST TIME AGAINST ANGELO STATE
Maliyah Mendoza scored a brace as the Lady Buffs defeated the Rambelles 2-1 on Oct. 26 to clinch the LSC Championship and right to host the conference tournament.Â

The Dallas native opened the scoring in the 8th minute after slaloming her way past the Rambelle defense before beating the keeper at the far post. She would pick up her second on the game and third of her career in the 30th minute with a well-placed shot 10 yards out.  ASU would get a goal back in the 35th minute as
Courtney Dippel picked up her 40th career win in goal for WT.Â

HOME SWEET HOME
The Lady Buffs return to the friendly confines of The Pitch, where they won three straight to open conference play. They have also scored seven of their nine goals this season at home.Â

TWO IS THE MAGIC NUMBER
WT is a perfect 4-0-0 on the season when scoring two goals including 3-0-0 at home. They opened the season with 2-0 victory over CSU-Pueblo followed by 2-1 victories over Eastern New Mexico and Texas A&M-Commerce. They shutout UT Tyler 2-0 in the final game of a three-game homestand.Â

NEEDING TO STRIKE EARLY
The Lady Buffs are 4-1-0 in 2019 and 24-1-2 since October 2017 when scoring the first goal. Before dropping a 2-1 decision to Adams State in the home opener, WT were unbated in 23 straight games when finding the back of the net first.Â

RECORD WATCH
Cheyenne Orozco is less than 100 minutes away from becoming the 10th player in program history to play over 5,000 minutes. The junior centre back has started in 53 out of 54 games for a total of 4,902 minutes.

Kelley-Lusk's three game-winning goals this season are tied for the 10th most in a single season in program history. The junior has eight for her career which is the fifth-most in Lady Buff history.Â

The record attendance for a Thursday game at The Pitch is 227 set back on Sept. 23, 2010 against Dallas Baptist.

6 WINS AWAY FROM THE CENTURY MARK
With their 2-0 victory over UT Tyler on Oct. 5, 10th year head coach
Chad Webb improved to 94-74-20. The former WT standout is six wins away becoming the second coach in program history to reach the 100-win plateau. The Lubbock, Texas native has led WT to four consecutive 10-plus win seasons including back-to-back NCAA appearances.Â

AROUND THE LONE STAR CONFERENCE
DBU remained the lone undefeated team in conference play this weekend with wins over WT and ENMU. ASU and St. Edward's are tied for second at 5-0-1 after the Hilltoppers 1-1 draw against Lubbock Christian. Texas Woman's sits fourth at 5-1-0.
