Coaches Corner…
Thoughts on Preseason
"I felt like we did a lot of good things in our four preseason matches. It was unfortunate that we lost two games due to weather but we can't do much about that. Our team is healthy for the most part and our offense started to work more as a unit against Southern Nazarene. We are ready for conference play to start and are ready to get going."
Thoughts on Texas A&M-Commerce
"Commerce is a really strong team as they return a lot of players from last year's championship squad. We are going to have to be disciplined defensively and make sure we are on target when we get shots. They are a tough team to play at home but we need to focus on our game plan and give ourselves a chance to win."
Thoughts on Texas Woman's
"They played really well during the non-conference part of their schedule, especially on defense. Just like in the match against Commerce, we are going to have to make our chances count. It is always a hard fought match when we play them and I expect less than that on Sunday."
