The West Texas A&M University women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to St. Edward's University, Tuesday at Austin, Texas.

Despite outshooting the Hilltoppers 14-11, the Lady Buffs only had four shots on goal, compared to five for SEU.

The Hilltoppers scored both their goals in the first half, in the 27th and 38th minutes.

WTAMU had nine corner kicks, compared to zero for SEU, but couldn't find the net.

The Lady Buffs will have their home-opener and Kimbrough Memorial Stadium debut on Sunday, September 7, taking on St. Mary's in a 2 p.m. match, followed by the men vs. St. Mary's at 4 p.m.
