Palomo and Caride Earn NCAA Division II PING All-Region Honors

CANYON, TEXAS – West Texas A&M's Santiago Caride and Luis Palomo have earned All-South Central Region honors by PING and the Golf Coaches Association of America announced on Tuesday.
 
Palomo is ranked 58th in the nation by Clippd as the senior has registered an adjusted scoring average of 71.8 over 33 rounds. The Barcelona, Spain product picked up a victory at the San Juan Intercollegiate while finishing third at the Las Vegas Desert Classic and fourth at the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invitational to earn First Team All-Lone Star Conference accolades.
 
Caride, a Second Team All-LSC honoree, has an adjusted scoring average of 71.8 over 33 rounds as the senior is ranked 67thnationally by Clippd. The Bariloche, Argentina native won the Pilgrim's Run Invitational back in September while also finishing fourth at the Shootout at PGA Riviera Maya and 10th at the NCAA South Central/West Regional Championships.
 
The Buffs are currently competing in the third and final round of stroke play at the NCAA Division II Championships at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada.
