CANYON, Texas – The #7 Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M return to the First United Bank Center on Tuesday night as they host the rival Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds with tipoff set for 5:30 p.m. in Lone Star Conference action.

OKLAHOMA CHRISTIAN REWIND
The #7 Lady Buffs closed out their Oklahoma road trip with an 82-67 Lone Star Conference victory over the Oklahoma Christian Lady Eagles at the Payne Athletic Center in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Henley West led the team with 18 points, shooting 8 of 9 from the field, and added two blocks.
Kyla Kane contributed 13 points, making all three of her 3-point attempts.
Chloe Callahan tallied 11 points, converting all three of her shots from beyond the arc.
Karley Motschenbacher recorded eight steals and collected five rebounds.

SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS
Eastern New Mexico enters the week with an overall record of 13-9 with a 9-5 mark in Lone Star Conference action. The Greyhounds are 7-4 on the road so far this season with victories at Regis, Newman, UT Dallas, Sul Ross State, Western New Mexico, Midwestern State and Cameron.

The Greyhounds went 1-1 last weekend on the road in the Sooner State as they fell to Oklahoma Christian (66-55) on Thursday before topping Cameron (76-47) on Saturday afternoon. ENMU shot 45.6% (31-of-68) from the floor as they forced 17 turnovers by the Aggies. Chloe Dallas led the way for the Hounds, going 11-of-15 from the floor including 3-of-5 from the charity stripe for a game-high 25 points to go along with 11 rebounds, two blocks and three steals.

Dallas leads the way offensively for the Greyhounds as the senior forward from Milwaukee has gone 77-of-132 (58.3%) from the floor including 43-of-76 (56.6%) from the free throw line to average 14.1 points per game to go along with 106 rebounds, eight assists, 21 steals and 12 blocks. Dallas has finished in double-figures in 11 of her 14 games played this season with a season-high 26 points coming back on January 22nd against the Lady Buffs in Portales.

ENMU HEAD COACH BLAKE HUBER
Blake Huber is in his third season at the helm of the Eastern New Mexico women's basketball program, being named the head coach in June of 2023. He holds an overall record of 45-36 during his time in Portales.

Huber spent the 2022-23 season as the head coach at Texas A&M-Texarkana where he took the Eagles to a 29-2 record, being named the Red River Conference Coach of the Year. He led the team to their first ever tournament appearance and victory, advancing to the second round of the NAIA National Tournament.

THE SERIES
Tuesday night marks the 97th all-time meeting on the hardwood between the Lady Buffs and Greyhounds as WT holds the 80-16 advantage in the series that dates back to 1980. The Greyhounds are 29-10 all-time in Canyon, winning their last trip to the Texas Panhandle in 2025.

Karley Motschenbacher knocked down a pair of free throws with less than a second remaining on Thursday night as WT extended their win streak to 18 games with a wild 84-83 Lone Star Conference win in Portales.
Kyla Kane scored 16 points, converting 7 of 8 free throws, and recorded three steals.

WT HEAD COACH JOSH PROCK
Josh Prock is now in his fifth season at the helm of the Lady Buff Basketball program. The Lady Buffs made the program's 29th appearance in the NCAA Division II Postseason during the 2024-25 campaign as they went 19-13 overall with a 12-10 mark in the LSC.

Prock reached the 300-career victory milestone on Thursday, December 4th in a 76-51 victory over Oklahoma Christian at the First United Bank Center in Canyon. Prock was introduced as West Texas A&M's head women's basketball coach on June, 2, 2021. Prock is no stranger to the Lone Star Conference as he spent eight seasons as the head coach at Eastern New Mexico leading the Greyhounds to three NCAA Tournament appearances.

West Texas A&M is home to one of the finest multi-purpose facilities in the country as the First United Bank Center has served as the home of the Lady Buffs since January 26, 2002. The Lady Buffs are a staggering 298-48 inside of the FUBC during that time for a winning clip of 86.3%. WT has averaged 1,035 fans per contest since the facility opened its doors with the largest crowd coming on Opening Night with 4,941 members of Buff Nation seeing the Lady Buffs take on rival Abilene Christian.

LSC PRESEASON POLL
The Lady Buffs were selected fourth in the 2025 LSC Preseason Coaches' Poll. Texas Woman's claimed 20 of the possible 51 first place votes to sit atop of the poll with 810 points followed by Lubbock Christian (14 first place, 776), UT Tyler (eight first place, 761), West Texas A&M (six first place, 663) and Eastern New Mexico (two first place, 657) to round out the top five. Angelo State (656) sits sixth followed by Texas A&M-Kingsville (564), UT Permian Basin (466), Midwestern State (461), St. Mary's (438), St. Edward's (363), Oklahoma Christian (310), Cameron (262), Texas A&M International (one first place, 210), UT Dallas (168), Western New Mexico (161) and Sul Ross State (77).
