ROCKWALL, Texas – The West Texas A&M women's golf team holds a three-stroke lead after two rounds of play the 2025 Lone Star Conference Golf Championship at the Rockwall Golf & Athletic Club. The Lady Buffs posted a team score of four-over par (580) with Gam Songprasert leading the individual leaderboard after 36 holes.
 
Songprasert fired rounds of three-under (69) and one-under (71) to hold a two-stroke lead over St. Mary's Savannah Dupre. Anna Nomrowski tied for fifth on the first day with a score of two-over (146) after shooting rounds of 71 and 75. Charlee Thacker and Sarah Reed tied for 12^th with matching scores of four-over (148). After Antonella Periotti Omisolo played the first round, Kara Holm entered as a substitute for the second round, ending with a score of one-over (73) in the second round.
 
The Lady Buffs finish stroke play tomorrow morning with the top four teams advancing to medal match play on Wednesday.
