CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M Track & Field set a pair of new indoor school records on Sunday afternoon during the BU Last Chance Meet at the Boston University Track & Tennis Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
 
Isaac Botsio started out the day in the men's 60m prelims to win heat one with a time of 6.81. Botsio would have a slip in the starting blocks in the finals to not register a time. The junior from Ghana also claimed a 10
th place finish in the 200m with a mark of 21.88.

Asana Hamidu, 
Abigail Abugire, 
Blessing Akintoye set a new school record with a mark of 3:40.21 to finish second overall, moving into fifth in Division II this season.
 
The Buffalo DMR team of 
Aziz Mohammed, 
Jamill Phillips, 
Prince Mcabelo and 
William Amponsah closed out the trip to Boston with another school record with a time of 9:39.83 as Amponsah's anchor leg sealed the win for the Buffs for the fourth fastest Division II time so far this season.
 
The Buffs and Lady Buffs turn their attention to the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships taking place on March 14-15 at the Fall Creek Pavilion in Indianapolis, Indiana.
