2024 Outdoor: NCAA DII National Champion in the 100m with a time of 9.98 and in the 4x100m with a time of 39.42. Placed first at the Lone Star Track and Field Championships in the 100m and in the 4x100m. Also placed 1st at the Buffalo Invitational in the 200m (20.95) and at the Jo Meaker Classic and Multi in the 100m (9.90) and in the 4x100m (39.90). Earned All-Region and First-Team All-Conference honors for the 2024 outdoor season.
2024 Indoor: Earned National Runner-Up in the 60m at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships with a time of 6.67. Also competed at the Lone Star Track and Field Championships in the 60m races with times of 6.68 and 6.73, earning first place for both races. Placed 1st in the 60m at the KSU Steve Miller Invitational with a time of 6.78. Received USTFCCCA All-Region and First-Team All-America honors
2023 Outdoor: At the NCAA D2 Outdoor Track and Field Championship, Isaac Botsio finished 2nd in the 100m race with a time of 10.03 (5.4), finished 2nd in another 100m race with a time of 10.27 (+0.0), placed 22nd in the 20m race with a time of 21.06 (2.7), finished 1st in the 4x100 relay race with a time of 38.70, and finally finished 1st in another 4x100m relay race with a time of 38.96. At the Lone Star Conference Championship, Isaac ran his personal best in the 200m race, placing 3rd, with a time of 20.71 (1.8). Also at the Lone Star Conference Championship, he placed 1st in the 100m race with a time of 10.10 (2.6), placed 2nd in another 100m race with a time of 10.24 (2.9), placed 2nd in the 200m race with a time of 20.92 (1.2), and finally placed 1st in the 4x100m relay race with a time of 39.95. Botsio also reached a personal best in the 100m race at the Jo Meaker Classic and Multi with a time of 10.06 (1.9) and placed 2nd
2023 Indoor: Finished 1st in the NCAA D2 Indoor Track and Field National Championship for the 60m race with a time of 6.62. Also at the NCAA D2 National Championships, Isaac placed 3rd in the 60m race with a time of 6.70, placed 8th in the 200m race with a time of 27.91, placed 5th in another 200m race with a time of 21.13, and finally placed 8th in the 4x400m relay race with a time of 3:12.12. Earned the National Champion title for his 1st place finish in the Lone Star Conference Championship with a Personal Best in the 60m race with a time of 6.61. Also at the Lone Star Conference, Isaac placed 2nd in the 60m race with a time of 6.67, placed 1st in the 200m race with a time of 20.88, placed 2nd in another 200m race with a time of 21.16, and finally placed 2nd in the 4x400m relay race with a time of 3:13.10. Part of the 2023 All-South Central Region Team for 4x400 Relay, 60m Race and 200m Race. Is a First Team All American Athlete in 2023 for the 4x400 Relay, 60m Race, and 200m Race.
University of Ghana: Ran under head coach Elorm Amenapkor. At the 2022 All-Africa University Games, he was a gold medalist in the 4x100-meter relay, Silver medalist in the 4x400-meter relay, and Bronze medalist in the 100-meter. At the 2021 Junior Olympics, he was a champion in the 100-meter and the 4x100-meter relay.
Ghana Secondary Technical School: Earned the 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 Best Athlete of the Year. He owns the school and Zonal record in the 100-meter, 4x100-meter relay, and 4x400-meter relay. He also holds the school record in the 200-meter relay.
Personal: Born December 11, 1999. Son of Jacob and Cecilia Ryan. Brother to Georgina and De-Graft. Plans to major in Sports and Exercise Science.
