CANYON, Texas – Coming off yet another NCAA Championship appearance, the West Texas A&M women's golf team starts the 2024-25 season on Sept. 15-17 with the Folds of Honor Challenge. The three-day tournament will be held at the Meadows Golf Club in Allendale, Mich. The winner of the tournament earns an invite to next year's Folds of Honor Collegiate.
 
The Lady Buffs return four players from last year's national quarterfinalist team with Logan Culpepper, Antonella Periotti Omisolo, Sarah Reed, and Gam Songprasert. Of those returning, Reed was a 2024 WGCA Honorable Mention All-American last season while Songprasert is a two-time All-American. WT also welcomed newcomers Kara Holm (Missouri City, Texas) and Charlee Thacker (Amarillo, Texas) to the team. Last season, the Lady Buffs finished in the top 10 of all 13 tournaments they played including five regular season wins and the NCAA West Regional Championship.
