CANYON, Texas – The #12 Lady Buffs take part in their second tournament of the fall on Monday and Tuesday as they host the annual West Texas A&M Fall Invitational at La Paloma Golf Club (Par 71 – 5,807 Yards) in Amarillo, Texas.
 
WT opened their season on September 15-17 as they finished fourth overall at the Folds of Honor Challenge in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Kara Holm led the way for the Lady Buffs as the sophomore shot a 216 (+3) to finish tied for fourth.
 
The 15-team field this week features: Odessa College, Adams State, CSU Monterey Bay, Western New Mexico, Garden City CC, New Mexico JC, Midwestern State, Cameron, Texas A&M-Kingsville, Lubbock Christian, West Texas A&M, Angelo State, Simon Fraser, UT Permian Basin and Chico State.
 
Monday will feature an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start with the teams playing 36 holes followed by the final round on Tuesday morning. The Lady Buffs will be paired with Cal State Monterey Bay and New Mexico Junior College on Monday.
