CANYON, Texas – The West Texas A&M Buffaloes fired a second round of 281 (-3) to move to fifth on the team leaderboard at the NCAA Division II National Championships at the Orange County National Golf Center (Par 71 - 7,419 Yards) in Winter Garden, Florida.

Oklahoma Christian continued to impress on Wednesday with a round of 275 (-9) to hold a nine-stroke lead over West Florida (-7, 561) heading into Thursday's final stroke-play round. Colorado Christian sits tied for second (-7, 561) followed by Central Oklahoma (563, -5) and West Texas A&M (566, -2) to round out the top five.

The Buffs registered 18 birdies during the second round to go along with a pair of eagles from
Wyatt Provence and
Luis Palomo. Provence enters the final round of team stroke play with a -9 (133) to hold a three-stroke lead on the individual leaderboard over Colorado Christian's Xavier Bighaus (-6, 136).

West Texas A&M will enter Thursday's final round of stroke play paired with Central Oklahoma and Coker University with traditional tee times starting at 11:16 a.m. CT.Â
