LUBBOCK, Texas – The No. 2 Buffs and No. 3 Lady Buffs finished their regular outdoor season at the Corky/Crofoot Shootout at Texas Tech University. Due to the weather conditions only six student-athletes competed today. 
 
TAKING FIRST
Senior Louis Moreau shined a spotlight on the 1500-meter race by taking first in 3 minutes, 56 seconds while defeating competitors from Texas Tech, Tarleton, Abilene Christian and South Plains. Moreau was only one of two athletes to finish under four minutes. 
 
SEASON BESTS
Two Lady Buff throwers finished with season bests with Alexandra Tice leading the way in discus by throwing 42 meters (137'-9). Teammate Hope Gray finished right behind throwing 41.21m (135'-2). For the Buffs, Ethan Hollinshead had a season best shot put throw of 14.75m (48'-4.75). 
 
COMING UP
The nationally ranked Buffs and Lady Buffs are now preparing for the Lone Star Conference Championships that will take place May 9-11 in San Angelo, Texas at Angelo State University. The schedule for the LSC Outdoor Championships is available on GoBuffsGo.com.
