2024 Outdoor: Competed at the Lone Star Track and Field Championships in the Hammer Throw with a throw of 38.75m. Recorded a personal best in the Hammer Throw at the Buffalo Invitational with a throw of 42.44m and a 6th place finish. Placed 3rd at the Corky/Crofoot Shootout in the Shot Put with a throw of 14.75m.
2024 Indoor: Competed at the Lone Star Indoor Track and Field Championships in the Weight Throw with a distance of 15.07m (Personal Record) to receive a 6th place finish and in the Shot Put with a distance of 14.82m to receive a 3rd place finish. Also competed at the SNA Indoor Invitational in Shot Put with a distance of 14.56m, placing 4th
2023 Outdoor: Earned a 6th place finish in the Shot Put at the LSC Championships with a personal best throw of 49’4.5” (15.05m), also earned an 11th place finish in the Hammer Throw with a throw of 131’0” (39.93m). Recorded a personal best 136’0” (41.45m) throw in the Hammer Throw at the Buffalo Invitational. Recorded a personal best at the Ross Black Open in the Discus with a 117’10” (35.93m) throw.
2023 Indoor: Finished 10th in the Weighted Throw at the LSC Championships with a personal best throw of 45’4.25” (13.82m). Also finished 9th in Shot Put with a throw of 45’11.75” (14.01m).
2022 Indoor: Competed in the Crimson & Gold Invitational, finishing 34th in the Weighted Throw with a throw of 41’7” (12.67m).
New Home High School: Graduated in 2022. Finished fourth in the state in shotput his senior year with a throw of 54’6”. Also qualified for regionals in discus with a throw of 129’9”. Finished sixth in the state for shotput his junior year with a throw of 50’4”. Helped the Track & Field team win their first district title. He also holds the shotput school record at New Home. Also lettered in football.
Personal: Son of Christy Burns and J Hollinshead. Brother to Jaden Hollinshead. Majoring in Sports and Exercise Science.
